It is their third visit in the last year. In LA and NYC Street Chant are playing a series of high profile club nights including Part Time Punks and the Fuzz Club, as well as the NZ showcase at CMJ.
But after this they will be supporting The Lemonheads playing their 1992 classic “It’s A Shame About Ray” in it’s entirety – an album which propelled the band into 90’s alternative stardom. The tour just kicked off with two sold out shows at the Bowrey Ballroom in New York. After Evan Dando’s manager played him Street Chant’s album “Means”, Dando requested that the band join him on the tour.
Street Chant are currently working on their follow up album to Means – so expect to hear an new single from them very soon.
