1. Are you coming to Big Day Out with the full Das Racist experience (Heems, Kool A.D. and Dapwell) and any chance you will be bringing any or your regular collaborators (Lakutis, Despot, EL-P, etc)?
Dap: Lakutis will be coming with us.
2. Will you only play stuff from ‘Relax’ when you play at Big Day Out, or will you slip in some of the great songs from your two earlier mixtapes?
Dap: It’s a captivating blend of old and new.
3. What was the best gig you played in 2011 and why?
Dap: Primavera Festival in May was pretty great. There were many Spaniards there, just mucking about and living it up.
KOOL A.D.: Hawaii was fun but mostly just for hanging out in Hawaii
4. What was the best gig you attended in 2011 and why?
Dap: I don’t care much for attending Satan-based events.
KOOL A.D.: Blood Orange in London
5. What is your favourite film or TV show to watch whilst stoned?
Dap: I’ve been watching the show Louie while sober.
KOOL A.D.: When I’m stoned I usually “channel surf.”
6. What’s the best thing to do in New York that isn’t talked about in the travel guides?
Dap: It’s probably almost all in the travel guides. I guess talking to my human parents isn’t in there.
KOOL A.D.: I don’t know, hang out?
7. If all three of you had to have a fight with each other, who would come out the ultimate winner?
Dap: Are we allowed to use telekinesis?
KOOL A.D.: It would be like the end of Scanners except all of our heads blow up.
8. What would be your ideal pet?
Dap: A dog.
KOOL A.D.: I don’t like picking up pieces of shit.
9. In your raps you talk a lot about looking things up on Wikipedia, what would be one of the best things Wikipedia has ever taught you?
Dap: That dogs are wonderful pets for old and young alike.
KOOL A.D.: In the Wikipedia entry for dog there’s a picture of two dogs fucking on a beach.
10. If you absolutely had to, who would you rather make sweet, tender, passionate love to, Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin?
Dap: Sarah Palin is slightly better looking. I’m much too uninterested to do a google image search.
KOOL A.D.: The third Google Image Search hit for Michele Bachman is her deep throating a corn dog.
