Man, the hype on this new Lana Del Ray album is building it up way too much, in my opinion. Talk about setting someone up to fall, shiiiiiiettt.
Anyhoo – so the new record drops on 6 Feb and seemingly there’s a media blackout on the record with no advances being issued anywhere – but these snippets of two new songs have been uploaded in an official capacity…

Currently, my official position is “don’t believe they hype” – either way. I mean, she has a great voice and the songs sound lovely, but she is not going to save the world, and you shouldn’t hate her for it. And if one more person says she’s “fake”… fer fucks sakes, of course she is – it’s an ACT, get over it!
I’m looking forward to just enjoying the record when it’s released.
