Miike Snow (not Mike Snow, he’s not just some guy; it’s a group Christian Karlsson, Pontus Winnberg and Andrew Wyatt) are releasing their long-awaited new album Happy to You March 27th.
You can stream three new album tracks via their SoundCloud – and an Alex Metric remix, implicit, perhaps on a lead single in Devil’s Work.
Black Tin Box features fellow Swede Lykke Li and is a bubbly, shimmery space-jam of a song. While Paddling Out is a slice of piano-led disco-house that is awesome. The original mix of Devil’s Work is a mid tempo stomper, pianos and horns – while the Alex Metric rework is electrifyingly good, sounding like something The Chemical Brothers wished they had done.
