Roxette cancel New Zealand show

Roxette have been forced to cancel their Auckland show this Saturday when Per Gessle fell ill during his flight from Stockholm to Auckland.

In a statement, the band’s management said “despite the best efforts of all involved with the tour, it has not been possible to schedule an alternative date for the Auckland show within the already demanding tour schedule”.

The tour will resume as scheduled in Brisbane on Tuesday.

For all tickets booked online or by phone, the credit card used in the booking will automatically be refunded, and any Roxette fans who bought at a Ticketmaster outlet are advised to return to the original outlet with the tickets and the credit card used to purchase, to obtain a refund.

  1. This is absolute crap!!!!! 4 of us spent all that money coming to Auckland for Roxette all the way from the bottom of the south island! Flights, accomadtion, i think everyone should be compensated for some of this. I understand its no ones fault the concert is cancelled but there should be something back for the people who spent all that money, especially when the concert was only cancelled 1 DAY AGO!!!!!!!!

  2. True the concert got cancelled and was disappointed to find out on the day of the concert but i do hope they do a show eventully here as i grew up on them and will always be a lotal fan :)
