GAYTIME album released – tour dates too

Auckland’s Gaytime are back with the release of their fantastic debut album In Their Prime – and it’s a little over 15 minutes of sheer golden garage punk-rock genius. Cheese on Toast was a massive fan of the Auckland two-piece live for their short-lived time in the inner-city “scene” before frontman Josh moved away overseas; leaving Los Hories drummer, Kim all alone here; and a massive hole in my live-music-loving-heart. But when I heard that Josh was back in the country for a very short time; and the band had an album and some dates booked it was like a music-heart surgeon had paid a visit!

The album is short, irreverent, pointed, witty, smart, forgiving and inspiring… and you can play it 4 times in a row in just over an hour!

The digital version of the album is available via their Bandcamp for  Name-your-price but word is that the album is also available on limited edition vinyl (from shows, presumably, but I’m sure if you contact them via their Bandcamp something might be able to be worked out; but seriously; go to one of their shows (details below))
