While Auckland band Beach Pigs already released their EP last year – and it already made it to the Amplifier “Best EP’s of 2011 list, and the tracks No Work and Cigarette had a bunch of radio love on the bNET; it’d be fair to say that the “infectious buzzy little thing” as Arch Hill refer to it was in danger of being one of those overlooked classics.
So Arch Hill have decided to do their bit to ensure that doesn’t happen; and studio wizard Bob Frisbee has given the EP a bit of a fresh spit and polish in the mixing and mastering department – for a re-release via iTunes, Amplifier and your favorite digital stores from the 27th of April. But even better than that the whole EP will be available on 7′ vinyl (all 5 tracks on one 7″!) from mid-May.
