Real groovy, in celebration of International Record Store Day, released a very special limited edition double album of Toy Love recorded live at The Gluepot over two nights, Friday 12-Saturday 13 September 1980. Strictly limited to only 400 copies on vinyl in a wonderful gatefold cover. All copies have sold out. Real groovy have said that no further copies will be pressed and that the album will not be released in any further format.
Here’s photos of my copy, which Chris graciously signed for me at Real Groovy.
Cheese on Toast have been told that Chris joining Rackets to perform “Swimming Pool” was a complete surprise to the band – who were only told about it minutes before their performance.
Our friend Simon Kay shot this video on his handheld camera and kindly gave Cheese on Toast permission to post the clip online for you to watch.
Thanks to John Baker for his role in orchestrating this.
