Next week, on Wednesday night, there’s a pretty awesome showcase on at Whammy & Wine Cellar – it’s called NOT JUST ANOTHER SHOWCASE and it’s being put together by a collective of independent music bizzy types calling themselves THE OTHER PEOPLE – “a collective of young music industry professionals, fanatically obsessed with music and the desire to strengthen Auckland’s arts & culture scene through networking on the industry side and accessible events on the audience side. They are the new breed working across radio, publicity, artist & tour management, booking agencies, & print media.”
Playing at the show-case are LOUI THE ZU, 2AM ORCHESTRA, SPACE CREEPS, THUNDERDYKES, NO ALOHA, SUNKEN SEAS, and TRASH CAN DUO
