Minuit announced a three date NZ tour – Wellington, Auckland – and a special show in their hometown of Nelson where the proceeds will be donated to help Nelsonian Tony Bayard get to Boston, where he and his family hope to solve the medical puzzle that he faces.
Tony is the only person in New Zealand with two very rare medical conditions – you may have seen him on Campbell Live recently. Tony’s younger brother, Aaron, died from complications of the same conditions last year.
“Nelson is a place that gets behind it’s community,” says band member Paul Dodge. “Tony’s mates have been doing car washes and cake sales. We decided to put on a show and hand over the proceeds to Tony as well.”
