The Corner posted, this morning, that Grizzly Bear will be playing two NZ dates in November, apparently just in time for Cheese on Toast’s editor Andrew Tidball’s birthday (Cheese on Toast hasn’t, at the time of writing, received any official press release – perhaps it was all supposed to be a surprise for my birthday and The Corner have gone and ruined it now – thanks guys
). To be fair, the dates do appear on Grizzly Bear’s official website too. So this all seems to be real and legit and not just Hussein talkin’ shit.
Tuesday November 20 – Opera House, Wellington
Wednesday November 21 – Bruce Mason Centre, Auckland
Also, as mentioned on Cheese on Toast a couple of days ago – in our review of Daniel Rossen’s excellent solo EP – Grizzly bear have a new album due out later this year – it’ll be mid-September via Warp Records.
