Muzai Records have announced that SUNKEN SEAS will be releasing their debut album via the label at the end of June and will be hitting the proverbial road in July to promote the album’s release.
“Wellington three piece Sunken Seas chart their atmospheric sound with incredible depth with Null Hour, released through MUZAI Records from June 28th 2012.” reads the press release.
The singles “High Rise” and “Paid Your Price”, both gained heavy rotation on alternative radio across New Zealand (and topping both the 95bFM Top Ten and TheAudience.co.nz chart) – and the Wellington based trio – Ryan Harte, Luke Kavanagh and Craig Rattray – will continue their “venture into audible space and resonance” with the full album Null Hour.
Sunken Seas have risen as quite the departure from their ashes of Tiddabades, and have already played as support act to Wooden Shjips (USA) and John Cooper Clarke (UK).
The tracklist for the album is
1 What Birds See
2 High Rise
