Top 5 from TIMMY SCHUMACHER

Tommy Schumacher is launching a new club night this week, Saturday at Coherent – RAIDERS OF THE LOST ART – with Greg Churchill. The stated goal of the event is to bring back a more skilled approach to DJing.

Obviously a key element of a good deejay is selection – so Cheese on Toast asked Timmy to tell us about his current top 5 tunes…

Lo Fidelity Allstars – Come Alive (CORSAIR)
You won’t find a bigger Lo Fidelity Allstars fan than me! This tune is peak time with out trying to be peak time, and has that infectious party rockin’ vibe I have come to expect from one of my favourite bands. I really hope there’s a new album to follow this! LINK

Greg Churchill – It’s All bangBANG (Timmy Schumacher Remix) (GUNG- HO)
Ok so shameless self plug here. I spent ages on this Greg Churchill Remix, its out soon on uber cool UK label Gung Ho and seems to go down pretty well on the flo’. Hope you dig my Moombahton. LINK

Gingy & Bordello – Body Acid (KiNK’s On Acid Remix) (TWIN TURBO)
I do like a little bit of Acid. This is one hell of a builder, really whips people into a frenzy and the drop is subtle, but does not disappoint. Out on Turbo Records offshoot Twin Turbo.

Aural Trash – TTMFU (MOVE TO TRASH)
Fuck this tune is nuts. Greg Churchill and Anglea Fisken doing horrific things to a Reese bass producing devastating results. Love those stripped back drops you don’t see coming too. Can catch me and Greg spinning together 14/07/2012 at ‘Raiders of the lost Art’ @ Coherent nightclub :o )

Yasmin ft Shy FX & Ms Dynamite – ‘Light Up (The World)’ (MINISTRY OF SOUND)
This tune sounds massive on a rig – what else would you expect from a seasoned veteran like Shy FX. Massive subs shake your chest cavity while you get wooed by the sweetest vocal from Yasmin- and Ms Dynamite makes an appearance too. On that 140 Future Jungle tip, lots of smiles on the d-floor when you drop this crisp biscuit.
