The new Smashing Pumpkins album is, it’s been agreed, a return to form – and while NME are still moaning that “it’s not the original line-up” as some sort of justification for a shitty review instead of actually listening to the record – the Cheese on Toast HQ is PUMPED for the Smashing Pumpkins show at Vector Arena on Saturday night!
The Smashing Pumpkins played at Splendour in the Grass last weekend and launched their 2012 Oceania Tour at sideshows in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Ushering in the “new era of Smashing Pumpkins” as Corgan puts it, fans will be treated to the new album played, in it’s entirety, from start to finish – if the below set-list from Melbourne is to be treated as a guide; before launching into a generous helping of back-catalog favorites…
