Converse launched their Acts of Disruption in China in 2011 – the concept is to put band performances into unexpected places and invite fans to come enjoy for free.
In May, Acts of Disruption occurred in Sydney with King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and The Murlocs played at the Callan Park Hospital for the insane, a recently closed down Mental Asylum. Check out the video:
Auckland is going to get our taste of disruption soon – Thursday September 13th, in fact – at a venue yet to be disclosed. Tickets (and drinks (!)) are free – but you will need to RSVP via Converse’s Facebook
