DAN DEACON who has a new album called America (out this week in NZ) has just released a smart phone app for both iPhone and Androids.

The app is designed for use at Dan Deacon shows – the idea that every smart phone user in the room turns the App on and all the phones screens will synch up a colour light show in unison. The APP uses no data or wifi – presumably using the phones built-in microphone to synch to the music.
It’s unclear if the App will only work at Dan Deacon shows or if it will work at any gigs – who want’s to try it this weekend?
