SHOCKING PINKS announce new EP and an Auckland show

Under The Radar have reported, this afternoon, that Nick Harte aka the SHOCKING PINKS has announced the release of a brand new EP and a one-off live date in Auckland next Friday September 7th.

The Shocking Pinks will perform at the MUM club-night at Cassette – in the band will be Nick (obviously) Vaughan Williams on bass and Tim McDonald on drums.

The forthcoming EP – the first new recordings from the band single their self-titled album which was released on DFA Records in 2007 will be called Guilt Mirrors – no date for release has been reported yet – although the folks at UTR will be streaming a new song from the EP next week, apparently.

In the meantime – stream Ten Years, a single that surfaced in February last year, presumable a pre-cursor to this new EP.

Also, UTR have a new logo and site colour-scheme that looks great!
