Oh, the rumors around line-up have been rife already – Cat Power, Divine Fits, Yeasayer, Mount Eerie and Japandroids have all been tipped as possibly being on the line up announcement.
But the ACTUAL – FOR REAL – announcement will happen, in it’s entirety on Wednesday 26th September at 9am.
The festival organizers have revealed today, though, that the event will return to the Silo Park area in Wynard Quarter on Monday 28th January (Auckland Anniversary Day).
In a press release issued this morning they say :
“The location site will have a slightly different set up to 2012 Laneway – the site will be bigger and run along the waterfront, with lots of shade, heaps more grass, tables, chairs and umbrellas. We have doubled the size of the bars – and will be increasing the selection of food offerings. The site location will still be the most unique music festival location in NZ, with views to the Auckland Harbour Bridge and towering silos.”
