Stephanie Brown aka LIPS won the Silver Scroll award last night for her song Everything To Me.
Stephanie, who has been a keyboardist for the likes of OpenSouls, Anika Moa and Sola Rosa, started working as a solo artists after moving to New York, where she still lives for part of the year, the other, here in Auckland. While she is still to release a debut EP – the song was a big bNet hit earlier this year and she totally nails her live performances.

The other four finalists were Getaway Tonight by Opossom, Hibernate by singer-songwriter Lydia Cole, Girl in Stilettos by Annah Mac, and State Houses by the River by The Eastern.
Herbs were also honored at the awards ceremony last night – they were inducted into the NZ Music Hall of Fame in a ceremony recognising their decades of performing and their contribution to New Zealand’s musical history.
