The xx posted on their Facebook page, late last night, local time, a message taht they are planning a return visit to New Zealand.
“New Zealand! We had so much fun on our Laneway visit two years ago, we’re looking forward to coming back next spring to play for you.” they said
Cheese on Toast suspects that the band are referring to spring being the northern-hemisphere spring, so that’d be our Autumn in 2013 (Mar-May). Cheese on Toast spoke to a representative of their label in New Zealand on the phone this morning who was unable to confirm any actual dates as yet and commented that the band “really did love it here when they visited last time”.
