AMANDA PALMER announces two NZ shows

Amanda Palmer is no stranger to these shores and fans will be ecstatic to hear she’s coming back in January.

Amanda Palmer has been to subject of much debate and controversy recently over her decision to crowd-source musicians for her tour and pay them with hugs, drinks and high-fives in lieu of actual cash – claiming she was not in a financial position to. She had, before that crowd-sourced ONE MILLION DOLLARS to fund her latest album. Hence the back-lash / controversy. Palmer has since responded by issuing a statement that adjustments had now been made (apparently reducing budgets for forthcoming music videos) to her finances to allow her to now pay all the musicians on her tour.
