Auckland band Villainy are releasing their debut album ‘Mode. Set. Clear.’ on October 19th through Villain Music / Universal Music NZ.
The record is result of a two-year partnership with Melbourne-based producer Tom Larkin (Shihad), and as they put it in their press release “Make no mistake, this is a rock album”.
To complete the package, the band enlisted legendary designer Storm Thorgerson. As the name behind the covers for PinkFloyd, Led Zeppelin and Muse (to name but a very few) and working with a New Zealand artist for the first time in his 45 year career – check it out here…

To celebrate the release of their debut album Villainy are playing two live shows in Auckland and Wellington.
October 19th – Kings Arms
October 20th – Bar Bodega
Presale tickets from Undertheradar $15.00
