Becks beer have released a special edition of their 330ml bottles – replacing their traditional labels with awesome works of art by renowned NZ artist John Reynolds – inspired by songs and song lyrics from Arch Hill Records extensive catalogue.
Lyrics from artists such as Family Cactus, The Clean and Street Chant inspired John to create 24 multi-layered pieces of artwork, which were transformed into the labels.
“I was delighted to be asked by Beck’s to design the latest set of labels. It’s extremely refreshing to see a brand such as Beck’s embrace and encourage New Zealand artists – both musically and visually,” says Reynolds. “It’s a rare opportunity and one I’ve savoured every minute of.”
Reynolds has also created four different designs for Workshop T-shirts, which will be available to purchase from Workshop stores around New Zealand. Also, QR codes scanned in participating bars will also award Beck’s drinkers spot prizes of the Workshop t-shirts, Bandit FM music download vouchers, Beck’s beer and limited edition art prints.
