KIRIN J CALLINAN and SETH FRIGHTENING announced to support Grizzly Bear

Mystery Girl and Rushmore announced the support acts for the upcoming Grizzly bear shows in November today.

Grizzly Bear will be joined by Kirin J Callinan (pictured above) and Seth Frightening when they play in Wellington and Auckland in November.

“KIRIN J CALLINAN is a guitarist, singer, songwriter & solo performer born in Australia in the later half of the 1980’s. Known for his confronting live performances, haunting compositions, wild guitar playing, a charming presence & charismatic on stage banter.” they say in their press release.

The Herald Sun said of Kirin :
“Kirin J Callinan shows why he is this generation’s Rowland S Howard as he practically takes a razor to his guitar, torturing sounds out of it with the glee of the dentist in Marathon Man. Is it safe? No.”
