ELVIS COSTELLO is returning to NZ in January to play at South Auckland’s Villa Maria Estate’s A Day On The Green Show on January 19th.
He’ll be joined by his band The Imposters who are two-thirds of the line-up of The Attractions.
The last time Costello was here was for the ill-fated 1999 Sweetwaters Festival. He was due to perform last year at the Gras Roots Festival in Auckland which was cancelled due to slow ticket sales which the promoters blamed on the Christchurch Earthquake.
Costello is headlining the late afternoon-to-evening vineyard show with support from Don McGlashan and band The Seven Sisters, Tim Finn and James Reyne.
