A Cheese on Toast reader kindly gave us the tip off, this morning, that seminal British indie-popsters THE WEDDING PRESENT ae heading to New Zealand for their first ever visit in February 2013.
According to the band’s website – they will be touring USA before playing in Wellington and Auckland and then heading to Australia.
“At selected shows on this mini-tour The Wedding Present will be performing their 1987 album George Best in its entirety while at some of the others they will be performing the A-sides of the twelve singles that formed their record-breaking Hit Parade series of 1992. The rest of the concerts will consist of a ‘normal’ Wedding Present set.”
