In a press release issued today, Muzai Records have announced they have signed the Auckland duo.
“Coming off a stunning performance with the mighty Beastwars this past weekend, Wes and Stu sign amidst strong praise with their single “Tetris”, currently playlisted on 95bFM and doing the rounds on alternative radio up and down the country.” states the release which touts the pair as “Auckland’s premiere (perhaps only) “disco doom” outfit”.
Tetris is the first single from their forthcoming EP, Digitizer, to be released digitally in Feb 2013.
Proton Beast are playing November 22nd at Space Monster (Whanganui) and November 23rd in Bodega’s Burgundy Room (Wellington)
