Autumn Splendour have released a brand new single today; sticking with their convention of naming songs after their friends (and usually, if not always, named after the friend who inspired the lyrical content).
The new single is called Claire. If my memory serves me right, the “No sex in Sandringham” refrain first appeared in a song performed by The Secretaries, a no-wave duo from years back comprised of Natasha (now of Autumn Splendour) and Dancin’ Stevie.
