R&V have confirmed three NETSKY (Belgium) live dates in March – announcing today the third date in Hamilton at the new venue Claudelands.
Hot on the heels of his performances at both Rhythm & Vines and Rhythm & Alps in late December, Netsky is returned for an encore tour showcasing his second album ‘Netsky 2′.
He will play Orientation shows in Dunedin (14 March) and Wellington (15 March) before this show in the ‘tron.
The press release says “R&V is Boris Daenen’s (Netsky) favourite festival in the world and he is a huge fan of NZ audiences. Progressing from his beginnings as a DJ/producer, he has honed his live show over the past year with a full band, and is keen to bring them back for more Kiwi love in venues around the country.”
Speaking at R&V the day after his festival performance on 29 December, Boris explained why he loves returning here:
“It’s just insane how people here in New Zealand combine the energy with just a good attitude. There is no mosh pitting, no aggression whatsoever, and that makes it a lot more beautiful for us. Just plain energy, so much dancing… it’s amazing, it’s really how it should be everywhere.”
