EXAMPLE to play one NZ show

Global dance-pop act EXAMPLE (yeah, I never heard of him either) is bringing his full band to Auckland for one night only – playing Logan Campbell Centre on Wednesday 24 April (this night before Anzac Day).

EXAMPLE, born Elliot John Gleave in 1982 became “an instant global mega star when his third album Playing In The Shadows debuted at #1 on the UK Album Charts in Sept 2011 – the press release assures me. Third album. Instant. Jus’ sayin’.

It also, “spawned two monster #1 singles” Changed The Way You Kiss Me and Stay Awake.

It will be an All Ages show with a bar available for anyone there over 18.

Local support from Jetski Safari with Helen Corry and Mitch Lowe
